As a verification mechanism, both adoption of responsible fishing criteria and good practices that guarantee the sustainability of the species, it’s important that the responsible fishing value chain include a traceability scheme, allowing to trace fish from the moment of its capture until it’s delivered to the final customer.
In order to comply with these requirements, we keep a record in which we find fishers’ information, capture zone, captured specie, fishing art used, its size or weight and, in some cases, the capture size. In this way we can safely and certainly inform to the consumers about the origin and features of the fish we trade.

We are clear about the common and scientific name of every species we trade, in order to ensure ourselves what kind of products we are really selling.
Threatened status
We know about the status of species we trade and its threatened grade. We take care about the threatened species population, avoiding its capture and trading.
First growth size
In order to maintain biological populations that sustain fishing activities, we take care of the young individuals for them to reach their reproductive stage.
Technique used for fishing
We use selected fishing arts as in the case of seine, meaning those that generate less impact on the environment and the biological resource.
Respect for species closures or rest seasons
We respect the closures or rest seasons stablished for taking care about the stages of reproduction and recruitment of species inside a specific fishing zone.
Capture zones and protected areas
We respect the area zoning for fishing management since the biological focus as breeding and recruitment zones, so as also since the usage, comparing, for the instance, craft fishing zones and industrial fishing zones.
